Employers, CFOs and boards of directors all say that good communication skills are more important than intelligence, technical skills and capacity for hard work, yet most FP&A and finance professionals spend little time developing their communication skills.

In addition to providing participants core communication skills, this course provides tools for financial professionals to present financial and other numeric information more effectively. In this course you will learn how to communicate the right information the right way.

A Harvard Business Review survey showed that readers ranked communication skills as the most important factor when considering someone for promotion. Additionally, today’s business environment is increasingly global in scope, making cross-cultural communication issues more important than ever before.
In addition to providing participants core communication skills, this course provides tools for financial professionals who work with colleagues and clients internationally. The course shows you how to communicate the right information the right way, especially financial information. It will also help you understand how people from other cultures approach context, how to work with people with different decision making approaches and how to deal with people who handle disagreements differently.
